Hachinohe Bouillabaisse Festa 2025

The Hachinohe Bouillabaisse Festa is an event aimed at encouraging people to eat, know, and love Hachinohe’s local fish. 16 restaurants thoroughout the city will serve Hachinohe bouillabaisse with an abundance of local fish from Hachinohe, for two months from February 1 to March 31, with each restaurant adding its own twist. Hachinohe Bouillabaisse has two rules. (1) At least four types of seasonal seafood from Hachinohe must be used. (2) After eating the seafood, a closing dish must be prepared to savor the remaining broth. With its roots in French fisherman’s cuisine, bouillabaisse is the perfect seafood dish for the port city of Hachinohe. Let’s warm your body and heart with Hachinohe bouillabaisse.
