The World Taiko Conference (WTC) is a taiko conference that began overseas, in which taiko drum enthusiasts gather. It has been held in North America since 1997, in Europe since 2016, and in Japan since 2020. As an art that was originally created in Japan around 70 years ago, original taiko drum performances are spreading throughout the world, crossing borders of culture, race, and gender.
We plan to invite professional taiko drum performers thanks to the efforts of the WTC.
