This festival is where local Geinoh groups in Ofunato city show their daily activities and performances. With a focus on Geinoh succession, the festival provides an opportunity for children’s groups in addition to youth groups to showcase the outcome of their daily practice. Many groups will perform in the festival, presenting Kenbai, Shika Odori (deer dance), Shishimai (lion dance), and other heroic dances. The performances are a must-see.
