Miyako Kitakamisanchi Museum of Folklore
Rikuchu Kawai is located almost in the center of the Kitakami Mountains, on the north side of Hayachibo Mountain where mountain worshipers gather. The museum exhibits the beliefs and many tools of daily life of people who have lived as lumberjacks and charcoal burners for a living.

Market held on the days that fall on the 3rd and 8th
Central Kuji City Stalls sell seafood, local produce, and daily sundries on the market street.
Roadside Station Kuji, Check out the Dashi (floats) of the Kuji Autumn Festival and get souvenirs at Yamase Dofukan

In addition to exhibiting the iconic huge floats from the festival in Kita Sanriku, you can enjoy other activities besides shopping, such as the Showa Era (1926-1989) Memory Museum.
