Hachinohe Enburi is a folk Geinoh which is to pray for a good harvest in spring of Hachinohe region of Aomori Prefecture. It is selected as Intangible Folk Cultural Property of Japan. Various enburi events are held during the festival, including “Hōno (Dedication),” which gives a solemn atmosphere of Shinto ritual, “Issei Zuri,” in which more than 30 people dance together, and “Oniwa Enburi,” in which you can enjoy as if you were owner of a mansion.
