There are many Geinoh in Japan and other Asian countries that involve “Shishi” (Lion/Deer). “A Genealogy of the Lion/Deer Dance” is the first transnational work of its kind to decipher genealogies of Geinoh in Japan and Indonesia. Following the performance, there will be a Barong Dance and Gamelan workshop and lecture.
