The festival is held at Yamada Hachimangu Shrine and Osugi Shrine, and on the second and third days of the festival, the portable shrines, MIkoshi, will parade accompanied by many local Geinoh, and dances will be dedicated throughout the town. <br>The festival offers many highlights, including Yoimiya (night before festival) at Yamada Hachimangu on the first day, the departure and return of the Mikoshi on the second day in the morning, and Mikoshi procession in a sea on the third day in the morning. We recommend renting a bicycle or other means to tour the beautiful Yamada Bay, or taking a break at Roadside Station. Rafts for cultivating local specialties such as oysters, sea squirts, and scallops are scattered across the bay, creating a uniquely Yamada landscape where human activity and nature exist in beautiful harmony. In the surrounding area (Funakoshi Peninsula), there is the <a href=\"https:\/\/yamada-kujirakan.jp\/\">Whale and Sea Science Museum<\/a> and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.yamada-kankou.jp\/shiokaze-trail\/\">Michinoku Sea Breeze Trail<\/a>, where you can enjoy <a href=\"https:\/\/www.yamada-kankou.jp\/information\/rental-cycle\/\">cycling and<\/a> strolling while admiring the scenery.
