【Sanriku Festival】Iwaizumi Town Local Geinoh Festival 2024.11.10(Sun)

Iwaizumi is the town where rich in spring water and one of the Japan’s three largest limestone caves exists. In such a town, Geinoh performance such as Nanazumai, Nenbutsu Kenbai (Buddhist Chant Sword Dance), and Sansa Odori, which they are performed inside and outside of Iwate prefecture, are inherited over the years. This year, four Geinoh groups from Iwaizumi town will be collaborated and Sugenokubo Shishiodori performers will be coming as guests. Hope you enjoy these spectacular performances.
