– Summary –

The festival features presentations by local folk performing arts and Butoh dancers from the village along with invited guest groups to provide an opportunity to appreciate the arts. The festival also serves as an opportunity for children and students learning the folk performing arts to present their own performances and to nurture the next generation of artists. The festival offers a wide range of folk performing arts by people of all ages, from seasoned veterans with many years of experience to elementary school students who are engaged in the arts in the district. The festival has been presented every other year. Last year it was supposed to be held, but was cancelled to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus. We hope to be able to present the festival this year.
